WHERE IS JUVÉDERM® USED?

Different formulations are approved to either volumize cheeks, smooth smile lines, smooth lines around the mouth, plump the lips, define the chin, improve the jawline, or improve the appearance of undereye hollows. The JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers are for adults over 21.

JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC softens moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (eg, nasolabial folds) by adding volume around the nose and mouth.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC is for deep injection in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss and for augmentation of the chin region to improve the chin profile.

JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC adds volume to the lips for a subtle plump, softens the appearance of perioral lines, and improves the appearance of undereye hollows.

JUVÉDERM® ULTRA PLUS XC smooths moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around your nose and mouth.

JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC adds fullness and plumps lips as well as smooths and corrects moderate to severe wrinkles and folds in adults.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC adds volume along the jawline area to improve jawline definition in patients with moderate to severe loss. The added volume augments the shape and structure of the lower face.

HOW DOES JUVÉDERM® WORK?

During treatment, a JUVÉDERM® filler is injected into the treatment area by a licensed specialist using a needle or cannula. JUVÉDERM® fillers add volume to the treatment area. Results with JUVÉDERM® fillers are not permanent, and retreatment is usually needed to maintain your results.

WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a sugar naturally produced by the body that retains moisture in the skin. The main ingredient in JUVÉDERM® fillers is a modified form of HA. JUVÉDERM® fillers temporarily restore volume loss in certain areas of the face and help provide long-lasting, natural-looking results.

WHAT IS VYCROSS® TECHNOLOGY?

Vycross® Technology is a proprietary technology designed by Allergan Aesthetics for use in the JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers, specifically JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC, JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC, and JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC. The unique Vycross® Technology process cross-links the hyaluronic acid (HA) molecules in these JUVÉDERM® fillers (pictured right), that results in a specialized, smooth gel filler. WHAT IS THE EXPERIENCE LIKE?

Your aesthetic healthcare provider will take your medical history and provide a facial analysis. Be prepared to discuss your aesthetic areas of concern. This is not a surgical treatment. Actual treatment with JUVÉDERM® injectable gels can take 15 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on which areas of your face is being treated.

DOES JUVÉDERM® HAVE FDA APPROVAL?

HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?

Results may last one year to two years, with optimal treatment and depending on the formula used and the area treated. Please read each product description to see how long results last with each formula and treatment area, based on what was observed in clinical studies.

ARE THERE ANY REASONS WHY I SHOULDN'T RECEIVE DERMAL FILLERS?

Do not receive JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers if you have a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to lidocaine or the proteins (Gram-positive bacterial proteins) used to make hyaluronic acid (HA) in JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers.

WHAT ARE COMMON SIDE EFFECTS?

The most common side effects are redness, swelling, pain, and tenderness. Minimize exercise, sun or heat exposure, and alcoholic beverages within the first 24 hours following treatment to avoid worsening these side effects. Chin Enhancements

Dermal filler is used to shape and define the chin for a more balanced facial profile, also creating a stronger jawline making the face appear more youthful.

Russian Lips

The Russian Lip provides a flatter profile look using smaller amounts of dermal filler in a "fanning" technique focusing on the cupid’s bow creating the perfect lip rather than the traditional technique potentially causing the duck lip effect. All client that are receiving this treatment will be numbed with topical anesthesia.

Cheek Filler

As we age, our cheeks may flatten and droop, this happens to the best of us. Our specialists will then add volume beneath the skin's surface, which will lift the cheekbone giving it a sharply defined structure. All clients will have the option to a topical numbing agent before each treatment.

Jawline Contouring

Jawline Contouring: reshape and define your jawline with a safe, non-surgical procedure for a more confident, attractive you.

Temples
